Andy Sottilare, has been an actor for over 30 years. A native Floridian, he has studied acting with Robbie Burns, Mervin Nelson, Stewart Solomon, Gerald Owens and Ray Forcian. Andy has appeared in over 250 commercials, industrials, tv series and films, as well as on stage, and has acted professionally, since 1989. He has studied improvisation since 1996, and was a member of Laughing Gas, Punch59 and They Improv. Andy has taught improv skills in corporate seminars, commercial workshops and is also a staff member at Conservatory Prep Senior High School, teaching an after school program, in Davie, Fla.. He recently began Improv Depot, using improv training to teach life and academic skills, to students. His skills also include playing the guitar and singing as well as song writing, and writing and directing his own short films. He takes great pleasure in teaching improv, and acting in general, to new actors, and sharing his lifetime of learning and growth, as an actor.
