Commercial auditions today often require actors to create strong self-tapes while following specific casting instructions. This Tuesday night class series gives actors the opportunity to practice commercial auditions on camera, receive direction and review their work on video.

WHAT WE’LL WORK ON

Each class focuses on different elements of the commercial audition and self-tape process, including:

Commercial self-tape practice
Slates
Bringing your personality to the camera
Answering personality questions naturally
Wardrobe and choosing the right commercial look
Understanding and following casting/self-tape instructions
Reactions and nonverbal moments
Making adjustments after direction
Becoming more comfortable and confident on camera

GET VIDEO FROM EVERY CLASS

Students receive video from each class so they can review their auditions, see their progress and continue practicing at home.

This series is also excellent preparation for actors interested in creating updated commercial marketing materials.
